So! Generic and boring is really not what I go for, ever, but I need to say, sometimes it is useful. I haven’t painted anything in quite some time, and tonight was the night. I got my paints ready, my brushes in the water and my canvas on the easel. I thought to try to go the direction I never tried to master to the perfection: naturmort. I never liked painting that are too realistic, I just need to have a touch of a fantasy. Well. not today 🙂
This painting is generic and very mediocre, but somewhat quite satisfying. Why? Because now I know that it is definitely not my direction and I should stick to my vision of art. Any art should be appreciated, it brings esthetics into our lives, it adds sophistication, it certainly is a next step in your own development. It also is an art and quite a difficult sense of appreciation of objects that are not particularly of your taste. I appreciate what I have done tonight, but it definitely does not stand close to my soul. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy! 🙂 Have a great Wednesday everyone!
I looks pretty good. It’s very pleasant to look at. I very much like it. Well done.

Thank you, I appreciate that! It is very generic comparing to what I usually make, but we all need to have those moments 🙂 Thank you, John 🙂

Actually, I really like it. I wish I could draw (and/or paint) half as well as this. 🙂

Thank you, Kay! It really is unexpected to see that someone likes it, I don’t even know why this painting originated from me… but I guess things happen for a reason! Thank you for liking 🙂 I really appreciate the feedback.
P.S.: by the way, in my language we often say: “a talented person is talented in everything”. I know you are a talented writer, and I believe you could be just as talented in arts! 🙂 Just give it a try!

I’ve tried drawing many times, mostly in art class in school, but also in my free time. I’m just not very good at it. Now put a camera in my hands, and then I’m not too shabby, but I wish I could be talented in drawing, too. 🙂
Thanks for the encouragement (and the compliment)! 🙂
