Painted Ballerina DIY

I must admit: I have not painted in a while, but this quick and easy ballerina DIY is perfect to put you back in the artistic mode. Bonus point: if you’re sewing, it will also help utilize some of your fabric scraps, so it is a win-win. You can also use this idea for  greeting card for upcoming Mother’s day or any other occasion.

Materials: canvas, black and white paint. Glue gun for attaching the skirt. Fine brush and sponge brush (for the background). Fabric remnant: I used gold polka dot organza bought at Jo-Ann’s.

Use: canvas or greeting cards.

Time: 2-4 hrs. Depending on how fast your paint will dry.

Level: Intermediate
